BLOGGER TEMPLATES AND TWITTER BACKGROUNDS

I only hope that we don't lose sight of one thing- that it was all started by a mouse.

Hmm... I'm not sure how good I'll be at this whole blogging thing. I never could keep up with my journal, even though its as cute as a button.

Anyways I guess since I'm going to keep up this blog to document my adventures at Disney World I suppose thats where I should start.

So many things have happend in one week, its kind of crazy! I cant believe that less than one week ago I was stressing over finals. Time flies! Now I am here sitting in my new apartment waiting to go to walgreens, exciting times for me :).

The only bad thing about this whole setup is that my best Singaporean friend Cheryl is not here to join me. Its taking all of my energy not to complain for pages and pages about the people who work in both the international students office and the disney company who wouldnt help her. I've already complained about them in my journal though. Like they say, "temper tantrums, no matter how fun they are to throw, rarely solve anything". Cheryl I think is taking the news much better than I am though. She for one, at least I dont think, has not planned on writing anonymous hate mail. I did vent my frustrations on my english text book that i could not sell back. I figured that since I don't like English and I don't like mean people, destroying my book was a good option.

Well thats as much as I'm going to say on that issue. Even though I'm mad at some Disney people right now, its apparently not enough to stop me from working for them.

Wow, this post will probably be super long. Should you feel the need to stop reading-by all means feel free. I will not be upset, how could i be? I woulnt be able to tell. Now I shall start at the beggining starting saturday.

After a lovely dinner with Ms. Emily Dekam and the popster I went home to pack up the apartment and do my cleaning check. Well at ten oclock the next day, and an hour before we were supposed to leave mind you, i finished my cleaning and packing. Then popster and I were off to the airport. The first flight was pretty uneventful, and so was the wait for my next plane in denver BUT on the plane to Orlando I just so happend to sit next to two girls from BYU Idaho who were going to the program too! Its a small world after all!
On Monday was sign in and all that jazz. Nothing too exciting. I met my new roomies, who all seem pretty awesome as of now. I also ended roomies with the girls I met on the plane! I have five other roommates. Two from Washington, Lela and Eden, two from Utah, the ones I met on the plane Tina and Breanna and one from California, my room roommate Alyssa. The apartment is pretty nice as well. The only thing that’s awful is the shower. I shall include pictures…someday.
Wednesday was Traditions which was basically talking about safty and fun stuff. Mickey did come visit us to give us our nametags, haha I feel so legit.
Today I had training. Training here is kind of fun though. We took about a two hour tour of the Magic Kingdom and rode a few rides and defeated the emperor Zurg! Wow I use way too many exclamation marks. I also got my costumes which are okay I guess. I’m pretty sure they’ve been using the same outfits since 1970 though. I have extreme front buttness though but I’ll be in a stand so who will see me right?
Tomorrow I get a day off so we’re all going to Experimental Protocol Community Of Tomorrow. Yesterday we went to the animal kingdom and got there just in time to see Simba’s parade- which was awesome!!!! I love seeing safari mickey! We also went on the safari, which was cool but we had the most monotone tourguide ever. Two white rhinos seemed like they were going to start fighting right in front of our jeep too! I was scared but the driver didn’t seem to think anything was wrong, and eventually they moved, so that was kind of anticlimactic.
Well that’s about it for now. Next stop, EPCOT for a mickey shaped ice cream.

nothing noteworthy

Hello everyone! This is my very first blog, so bear with me on this one. I have never prized myself on my writing abilities- in fact I detest english. Well I suppose I should rephrase that. I detest writing papers, especially if its somthing I could care less about. But enough griping for goodness sakes!

Anywho... I started this blog to please my dear roomate Emily, though I must admit this is one of the better ideas she's had ;). The reason we're doing this is because this summer we will each be going our separate ways. I'm off to work at Disney World with my other roomie Cheryl, and Emily is off to change the lives of the people in Mexico. So since we're probably going to be super (say with spanish accent) busy we decided to set up blogs to keep up on what we're doing. My blog will probably be boring as heck, but if you want to read about someone interesting heres Emily's blog http://www.emilyae-hui.blogspot.com/ .

Well I'm off to increase the size of my waistline. Untill next time!
